Jupiter has neary 320 times the mass of Earth and 2.5 that of all the other planets in the solar sytem combined!
Far, Far, Away
How far is Jupiter from Earth? Well, it depends, as both planets orbit the Sun, at times they are closer to each other than at other times. At their closest, Earth and Jupiter are 365 million miles (588 million kilometers) apart but at its farthest, the gas giant lies 601 million miles (968 million km) away.

Despite it's mass Jupiter rotates once every 10 hours at a speed of
45,300 km/h (28,148 mph)
That's No Moon!
You're right Jupiter hasn't got one moon it has 67! It also has the largest moon in the solar system - Ganymede

Jupiter can be seen from Earth with the naked eye. It is the 4th brighest object in the solar system and appears as a large bright star. With binoculars you might see some of the atmposphere and also some moons.
The Amazing Shrinking Spot
Jupiters giant red spot is getting smaller. Once the 3 times the size of Earth the spot - a massive storm which has lasted hundreds of years - is now only the size of one earth wide.
